Kirstie and Mags from Sea Buckthorn Scotland have teamed up with Jo from Fidra Gin for a celebration of all things Sea Buckthorn. Join us to find out more about the history and amazing properties of these vibrant bright orange berries, iconic to the East Lothian coastline, before discovering some of the secrets of their use in Fidra Gin!
Fidra Gin is a crystal clear, pure and fragrant gin with a slightly salty tang of the sea. It is made in small batches and infused with heady botanicals from East Lothian. Founder Jo will delve into the ‘science’ of gin-making as she talks through how they forage for the main ingredients and gives the lowdown on the distillation process, with the help of Sadie, their 5 litre mini still!
Enjoy a welcome Fidra G&T and a Stormy Seas cocktail as well as Sea Buckthorn juices while enjoying views across the sea to the Bass Rock.
