This June a host of passionate environmentalists and nature enthusiasts will share their stories and love of the seas at our annual Marine Fest. Now in its fourth year, Marine Fest will run from 6 to 10 June. The packed programme brings together leading artists, writers and environmentalists to celebrate Scotland’s incredible marine wildlife and habitats.
- Talks from special guest and TV presenter, Megan McCubbin, talking about her inspirational marine wildlife experiences and Phil Taylor of Open Seas chatting about Herrings from Space!
- Citizen Science and coastal exploration on World Ocean Day itself encouraging people to get out and about and engage in citizen science on the beautiful East Lothian coastline.
- Family friendly activities to give all ages a taste of the magic of the marine world with Seaside Science, and Storytelling.
- A mix of adult masterclasses including seaside herbalism, gin tasting.
- Big Blu Pizza with delicious wood-fired pizzas to keep all sustained (Sat 8th June).
