The puffins are back!
The puffins are back on the islands of Craigleith, Fidra and the Isle of May National Nature Reserve. Hurrah!
Did you know the Isle of May is the biggest puffin colony on the east coast of Britain?
You can zoom in on the live puffin action with the interactive live cameras in the Discovery Centre.
You can also spot puffins during our boat trips.
To celebrate their return we will have some puffin-fun activities taking place at the Centre. There will be films, trails, art activities and competitions.
For any child who creates a 'puffin portrait' they will receive free entry into the Discovery Centre! A 'puffin portrait' should feature that child with a puffin - in any artistic medium. The best ones will be dislayed around the Centre too. Present your 'puffin portrait' at the admissions desk to secure a free child entry.
