Our seas and oceans are fundamental to life on land, yet for many years we have exploited them, not appreciating their resources are limited.
In collaboration with RSPB Edinburgh we are delighted to welcome, Professor Colin Moffat, Chief Scientific Advisor Marine for the Scottish Government, to give the 2019 Bryan Nelson Memorial Lecture. Professor Moffat, will explore the challenge of balancing human pressures with the need to maintain fully functioning seas and why appropriate management of human activities is essential for the conservation of all species above and below the waves.
