We are currently developing our education programme to deliver more learning opportunities focussed on Scotland's seas and the wildlife found there.
Exciting new science workshops will cover topics such as deep seas and iconic species like whales, dolphins and sharks. There are plans to redevelop our interactive science show ‘Oceanarific’, about marine litter, to make this even bigger and better.
Working in partnership with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) we are developing curriculum resources to support secondary schools. This has included a resource for National 5 Environmental Science students and teachers.
We are also working with the Marine Advisory Group to ensure our resources are linked to innovative marine research and science. We are aiming to inspire more young people to learn and care about the marine environment and wildlife. Activities will be delivered at the Centre and schools across Scotland.
