
For judging purposes images must be submitted as JPEGs, optimal size 300dpi - 3600 pixels but images at 240dpi - 2880 pixels are sufficient. For printing in all media and for inclusion in the exhibition, images selected must be suitable for printing 12” x 8” at 300dpi.
Yes, we are happy to accept a disk of images along with payment and application form provided all images comply with the requirements. Please do not send physical photographs to us as these will not be included in the judging process.
You can enter up to 3 images in each category, which is up to 18 images in total for the adult competition and 3 for the Juniors.
Yes, the Worldwide Wildlife category is any image of wildlife taken outside of Scotland.
The Scottish Seabird Centre team will contact you by 16 November 2012 to let you know if you have been successful in selection for the exhibition.
As long as you do not make the majority of your income from photography you are able to enter the competition.
The selected images will be online from 18 February 2013 along with the winning photographs. You can see selected photographs from previous exhibitions in the Gallery section.
