Soft play and more!
Let the kids go wild in our specially built soft play area! Created and built in memory of one of our trustees, Sheana Dryden, our soft play was officially opened in 2007 with the help of environmentalist David Bellamy. He returned to re-open the soft play in 2011 after an extension to this area, made possible thanks to a donation by Robert Barrs’ Charitable Trust.
This area carries a height restriction but generally children up to age 8 have the chance to let off some steam!
It is also the perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy a cuppa. Our Seabird flasks are the only drinks item allowed in the Discovery Centre and are available from the Seabird Café or gift shop for only £9.95, with your first drink free - there’s a 10% discount for members!
In the Kids’ Zone there’s also the chance for some arty fun with bass rubbings and drawing.
Our staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer any queries you have during your visit.
